See how he didn’t secure the ball? That’s why Brady is the GOAT.

FFS

It’s not over yet!

Dallas special teams tonight not good.

The ony way they can win this is to get a bunch of defensive penalties that don't move the clock.
Oh. |

I wish that would have been a TD for the LOLs.

Gotta catch that one.
|
Brady's luck:
4 missed XPs and an onside kick. Truly remarkable. |
At this point, I don't think Brady can even curl his son's toes.
|
THANK GOODNESS Dorrance Armstrong recovered from that awful unspecified injury he suffered when the Bucs were moving the ball down the field running tempo.

Julio has no shake and bake left. It was just soft food.

Onside screw up?

Hey Tom - got any more of those hospital balls to toss out there before they FINALLY roll your ass to the glue factory?

NFC Divisional has an old school feel… Dallas/49ers and Philly/Giants.

Did brady congratulate Prescott? I wasn't paying attention.

To Tom Brady: now go **** off and die.
Or just retire . . . . . . . But death is an acceptable means as well. Just go the **** away. |
“On behalf of all football fans, I say fuck You.”
Fixed that for you Troy. |

Prescott engineering that drive to open the 4th and get a TD was the difference in the game. I think we all knew what was coming if Dallas went 3 and out there. Instead they get points, use 1/3 of the time remaining, and put the game out of reach.
Of course there's a time to run the ball and be conservative, but if Herbert could have done that just once in the second half, the comeback gets stubbed out before it really begins, and the Chargers win. |
Prescott had 330 total yards with 5 TD and no turnovers. Pretty epic performance. I’m glad Dallas took out Brady!

What you guys think about SF v Dallas?

Dallas will be the most talented he's faced. |

Yea, let's see if Dallas can rattle SF's QB.
|
SF. It might be tight, like 1 point tight, but SF is just too stacked at every position, except QB. And Purdy may not be elite, but he doesn't have to be with those weapons. He just has to be as good as Jimmy G., but with better legs. That's it. That, and that defense will take care of the rest.

I had Chiefs Cowboys. Still do. Parsons will live rent free in Purdy's ass

Would be nice to see Giants Cowboys in the NFC Championship. Now that Daboll isn't associated with the Bills I have a hard time not rooting for the Giants to pull off the upsets. Knocking down the egos of the Eagles, 9ers, Bills and/or Bengals would be fun to see.

The one thing that impressed me about Purdy is the moment wasn't too big for him... it took him a bit to get settled in (think he missed his first several passes) and while he 18/32 isn't good, he wasn't Lawrence for 4 quarters against the Titans or 2 against the Chargers, or Skylar (even though his coaching staff really screwed the pooch), either.

He did a nice job knowing when to hold and when to fold. He wasn't perfect, but if he plays like that vs. SF, Dallas will be a really tough out. Dak reminds me so much of Alex Smith, though. I'm still just not sure he has enough upside to his game to succeed in the post-season. |
49ers are going full broke back mountain on the cowgirls
|
Quote:
They are no easy out. They beat Cincy, they beat Philly, and they beat the Giants twice. They get that running game going and Dak is on at the same time, they can put up 40+ on anyone. |

But it's going to be just Purdy's second NFL playoff game, the biggest game of his life, and we saw that he had some jitters last week, so I won't be surprised if he does to start this game as well. Of course, Dak could also have some issues with the magnitude of the game, since he hasn't been here in some time. Bottom line, I think both offenses are going to have issues early, which should keep it close, at first. But eventually, SF should just out-class DAL, assuming that Purdy does settle in. |

Read something about the Cowboys holder using a blade of white grass to pre spot the ball before kicking. Refs apparently warned him during the game they were watching for it so probably explains why Maher went so far off the rails

Just watching, it looked like Maher(sp) had a bad case of the yips. He was missing so badly he was missing the entire net and kicking the balls into the stands. Supposedly there was concern after the third miss that they were going to run out of K-balls. He's been one of the best kickers in the league for a couple seasons now, so he should get sorted out sooner or later. But man, that was kind of crazy to see. |
