We have the talented player on a cheap contact and they dictate the terms. That's what happens when you create a rushed deadline that doesn't actually exist. They had two years to find a deal.

Sucks to lose a playmaker like Peters. But i trust Veach and Reid.

Glad to see they are giving the defense a complete makeover. I think thats a good idea.

Draft is heavy with good secondary players.

I'm not freaking out necessarily. Especially before compensation but there is no way this was the best way to handle this imo. We had time on our side. We gave ourselves some rushed deadline.

The issue isn't finding a replacement in time. It's resources we didn't want to use on a corner now going there and not getting back what we should for a great player because we wanted him gone asap.

he's a decent dude - I don't think he's TRYING to troll. I'm not sure of his FB knowledge - it may be down there w/ mine. He's nice though. I've vetted him for being a nice person.

A lack of a first rounder is a putrid starting point for the price of bottoming out our secondary.

If we don't get #23 out of this deal, we truly are going to take a step back this season, even with the improvement at CB.

Vita Vea isn't falling to us. That's the only dude I could KIND OF rationalize this trade over. All we got left are CBs shittier than Peters and mediocre first rounders.

This draft was the PERFECT one to give up a 1st rounder in the pursuit of a QB in 2017. We did well. And now we're flushing all of that down the toilet.
