Ankle tweaks, when they're not serious to the point of a sprain or break, and can be mercurial.

Keep it warmed up, keep the blood flow, and the pain can drop off a lot in a 1/2 hour or so.

Maybe it's just me, but I was always tweaking my ankle in basketball and soccer. Hurt like a bitch for about 5 minutes, but find myself somewhere to breathe and shake it out, and it'd be much better quick.
