I don't remember seeing him ball out, but he is clearly the starter, both because of his salary and also because he is the veteran.

Our DL is pretty well set once we get Jones’s deal done.

The starters will be: Clark-Jones-Nnadi-Okafor
The reserves will be: Kpassagnon-Pennel-Saunders-Speaks-Harris

If we get anything at all out of Speaks, then that’s just gravy.

Would have been fine with Nick Vigil as well, but we simply don't have the cap room to sign anything more than $2 million a yr type contracts.

Plus we are holding on to a couple of compensatory picks in next years draft right now by waiting until roughly May 6-8th to start signing more free agents. Wait until the draft shakes out. Then see who is available at spots of need.
