I would say the rule changes making things tougher on defenses to cover the WR and the inability to touch the QB without a flag making defenses less aggressive has leveled things off some.

This. This whole "elite QB" thing is kind of silly to me TBH.

The hottest team always wins, and usually the team that is the most complete wins....

He's a very good QB, but I don't think he'll ever be "elite". In my mind, elite is top 5. I don't think Flacco in his career will ever be a top 5 QB.

Imo, he's still growing. It's still an open question.

I agree. I just think he has to keep getting into the tournament, and the elite/legacy stuff will take care of itself.

Oh and you're delusional to the point of being unable to function in society.

4 years and 3 years respectively.

Well yeah for us Chief fans that's like a million bazillion years ago.

He is going to have to have better numbers than he ever has.

Nothing they did last night in their dress rehearsal suggested other wise. They are really hurt at receiver right now.....

I really don't get why many are so butthurt at the 49ers fans here. So long as it wasn't division rivals or the Cowpukes, we all enjoyed having other team's fans visit the 49ers forum and talk it up. Why are KC fans so miserable and xenophobic? Must be the Patriots/Cassell thing, for the most part, I guess.

If you just talk straight football and be decent human beings, then there would be no issue at all. I'm telling you... you are creating your own misery.

*Yes, This is the exact same shit we heard from NE fans when Cassel came.
*We are butt-hurt over not drafting and developing a valid QB since Todd Blackledge.

There are fans from other teams that are respected on this forum.
Broncos, Chargers, Seahawks, and Rams to name a few.

Welp, time to post the list again.

I don't know if Aikman was an elite QB. He never threw for more than around 3400 yards.

He was a great player on some all-time great teams.

But I guess he's a HOFer now, so that could retrospectively make him an elite QB.

He never had to because that team almost always had an elite running game.

He could make every throw with phenomenal velocity and accuracy, and had a disgustingly awesome deep ball.
