They're showing the two-man super sliders now. Except that I think there are girls in them.
Anyhow, they appear to go pretty fast. I'd love to ride in a super-slider someday. FAX |

Dang. South Korea disqualified in circle skating. Bumped a Chinachick. Looked inadvertant but, predictably, the Chinachick took it personally.
Still, the US circle skaters got a Bronze out of the deal. FAX |
Canada just destroyed the Russians. They came to play, and Russia didn't. They were tougher, faster, and won every battle. Sweden/Slovakia next, and as always, anybody can win these games, but if Canada keeps playing like that, they are close to unstoppable.

nbcolympics.com has about 5 commercials, and they show them over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over... sometimes they'll show the same one 3 times in a row.

Wow. South Korea in a controversial DQ in the women's short track relay. USA was blown away by the field in a distant 4th, but backed into a bronze medal they probably didnt deserve. Whatever, we'll still take it.

The Korean girl's skate jammed right into the Chinese girl's skate, almost took her foot right out from under her. China was lucky that she merely lost speed and kept her feet. Without that skate-blade-bump, it would have been a close finish. |

Crap. Now it looks like they're going to show skate spinners all night. There need to be more contact sports in the winter Olympics, you know? Ice wrestling, or something.

Stunning!!!

On channel CNBC, they're showing hockey instead of skate spinning. There's guys in white jerseys playing guys in red jerseys. The red jersey guys are playing great defense.

Final heat of the chicks' super slider coming up.
