I don't understand why she thought someone needed to go get Rick and company? They left knowing the blond was in shock and time was of the essence. Did I miss something? She yells at Rick about leaving their son, so she decides to leave him alone while both parents are out on the town?

Dude when were in the bar talking that old dude was supposed to getting hammered on scotch and they did a close up and eyes not dialated in the slightest and speech is perfectly normsl. Dont any directors know about getting drunk? Fail

Looks like Shane's words and actions have rubbed off on Rick finally. He's much more interesting this way.
