:D

It's not cheating. You're doing assisted pull-ups, with a band, assisted machine or feet on something. This will help you get there faster than pull downs.

I wouldn't say these guys are small:

As stated, I like their look body wise. Didn't know anything about Crossfit, thought I'd ask, so there you go. Sorry if I've offended you in terms of thinking that this body type was regularly achievable via Crossfit training. Apparently, you feel that this is not the case and I should be castigated for thinking such a thing.

And Crossfiters have yet to admit that many of the top guys are also juicers.

So what's your point?

Silock 04-09-2014 10:14 PM

1) None of those guys are natural. They're all on something.

2) They don't actually *do* Crossfit to compete in the Crossfit games (meaning they don't just do whatever the Crossfit WoD is and then the next day go compete in the Crossfit Open).

LMAO You should be if you think these guys are all natural and ONLY use Cross Fit to look like that.

You can get there with time. I just like running on a track. But I used to run track so that probably has something to do with it.

Did you get those neoprene wraps I posted? They definitely help.

It's why I asked.

I figured someone around here was doing it, has done it.

And I didn't think that they looked like they are juicing. Just some dudes who work out a lot. They aren't that overly large.

This one...maybe:

A little off topic, but I don't understand how the hell people are vegan. It's boring and you can't eat anything good...at all.

I went out with a vegan girl a couple times. She was really weird. Like...she didn't enjoy watching movies. At all. Or TV.

She also made a shit ton of money and had a smokin' hot bod. Nobody's perfect, I guess.

Once you figure out that there is an entire world out there that the general American public doesn't ever really get exposed to from a culinary/purchasing (grocery store) perspective, and one starts looking into the options available, you realize that the selection of vegan foodstuffs is incredibly vast and varied.

I've had as much or more fun cooking for a vegan menu than I ever did with your standard proteins.

Boring and not good have never been a problem since I switched over.

Silock 04-10-2014 12:33 AM

I'd agree that eating vegan doesn't have to be boring. But it's expensive to not be boring.

And no matter how good you can cook, nothing will ever beat a steak.

How 'big' you get, whether your using gear or not, depends on caloric intake and nutrition, not whether your 'on' or not. The drugs CF athletes push are very similiar to what a lot of college/NFL players take. They are in/out of your system extremely fast, and cause you to not hold extra water/bloat, which is exactly what a performance athlete wants.
