Its going to be a battle for sure and the winner is going to have to play a near perfect game . . |

I don’t think this will be a cakewalk for either team. But, if it is a blowout, my money is on the Chiefs! I cannot wait for Sunday! |

I re-watched the second half of the Colts game. Although the offense stalled on some key 3rd downs, what I liked was that they ate up tons of time before having to punt and they were able to establish a punishing run game that eventually broke the Colts spirit. Cam and Wylie might not be the best guards in the game and occasionally false start, but they have a nasty streak in them and they always hustle. With the brutal cold this week, having a punishing ground game will be important. Don't be surprised if Sherman gets some carries. DB's hate tackling big guys in sub freezing temps.

I'm not nervous at all as I am on the "house money" mentality. I was a wreck last week, but since the bar in the playoffs for the Chiefs is so low, my expectations have already been eclipsed, especially for a first year starting QB. Anything more now is pretty much gravy. |

That said, the Chiefs had a great season, with an exciting, proficient new QB, and should be a contender for years to come. But the Pats team that they faced in Week 6 is not the same team that they will be playing on Sunday. |

Do I think the Patriots can win? Sure, in fact I would say they have a great shot. That being said the Chiefs Offensively are just a bad match up for the Patriots. This game will come down to coaching, and not so much on the Pats defensive players playing great. But more along the lines of Bill putting the Pat's defense in the right position to stop the Chiefs on 3rd down. |

The Colts team we just played last week was a wreck in week 6 but was the so called "hottest team in the NFL" when we played them. We saw what happened. We have been waiting for a TOTAL team effort all year long. That last two weeks I think we saw that. Christ, we put up 31 points without our stud QB having a passing TD. Our defense held the opposition to a garbage TD...I mean, if that isn't a total team effort, what is? |

We’ve also been waiting all year for the Chiefs to put together a total team effort. They did it in week 17 against the lowly Raiders. But then they did it again against a Colts team that the entire NFL touted as nearly invincible. The Chiefs team the Patriots will see on Sunday is not the same team they saw in week 6. |

Seriously, what was Luck thinking, holding the ball until the rush was in his face....then getting 5 or 6 passes blocked behind the LOS? The last time Brady got owned by a pass rush in a big game was when Dave Deguggliermo was coaching the Pats' O ine in 2015, so I don't see how the Chiefs are going to manage to disrupt Brady, with that defense. Oh, and good luck blitzing him. |
