Even as a little kid, that show really annoyed me. It was so terrible in every way. I wonder who brought that concept to the table, and then I wonder about the people who implemented it. You had writers who put together dialogue for the chimps, costumers who put clothing on the chimps, and all those other things. How did they feel about their jobs at the end of the day? Did they think it was cool to dub dialogue onto chimps, or did they not tell anyone what they did for a living?

Of course Casper the friendly ghost and Bob Keesham and Captain Kangaroo. What was the lady with the puppet named Lambchop watched it some. My older Brother and Sister and I would sit and watch Mickey Mouse Club on the black and white with our mouse ears on.

My very 1st memory was JFK's funeral on our 1st tv set when I was just over 2 years old.
I do remember Dark Shadows, he was pretty darn scary for a little kid like me.

Saturday morning cartons, Sunday wrestling, Batman, Star Trek, Lost in Space and spaghetti westerns with Dad. Mostly after we got a color TV.
