There is a flip side to this coin...

Prospects are put on the map, are widely considered top flight, and then people spend 6 months tearing them down to prove that they know something.

Look at Philip Merling, Brandon Flowers, Sam Baker, or Desean Jackson from last year for examples of this.

Aren't we wasting a lot of time talking about a QB in the draft? Especially the Bradfords, Staffords, Tebows etc?

The Chiefs game will never feature a down field QB with the current coaching and GM staff.

Picking one of them is an aboslute waste of a good QB that will not have success due to the run run dink pass punt strategy.

Trade down and focus on line men.

We're getting a whole new regime. New front office and new coaching staff.

that would be a great pick for the colts. I would worry bout how to get the ball to maclin on most teams, but not the colts, indoors with manning.

It ain't happening during the year, once the season is over we're going to see huge changes.

I have a lot of respect for Herm in one aspect, he went out and convinced the owner to do the very thing that would cost him his job, because it was the proper way to do things. He gets a pat on the back for that, right before he gets a kick in the butt for his piss poor coaching. :D

The front office has to sell hope in the off season, and keeping everything status quo will result in a HUGE drop in season ticket holders in time for a new Arrowhead. Clark can't have that, so he's going to have to make the move. I'm sure he'd like to keep Carl around to open the stadium, but he'll probably do something else, like put him in the Chiefs hall of fame for the opener or something.

If he's been fired I actually bet he'd get a huge round of applause when they announce him as 'former' GM and President of the Chiefs.
