Even if we get the #1 pick, and pick the best rated QB in the draft, with KC's past luck with QB picks AND KC's past luck with high draft picks, there's a good chance Thiggy will be better than the guy we pick as our QBOTF. |

How can you say Thigpen is shit? That is ridiculous. He was shit against Atlanta...that's easy. He was downright awful. And then it clicked. He decided to stop worrying about what critics thought about him and just said **** it and just played the game...the same game he's probably played all his life...and look what has happened. Dude took ONE sack today against the Bucs...he made SEVERAL great passes...he made several wise decisions to throw the ball away and he has a nice ability to tuck the ball and run... Yes, his accuracy is sketchy at times and as a 2nd year, 7th round pick, his decision making is a little dicey as well... But how can you say a guy with a plus arm and plus mobility is total shit? That's ridiculous. Gruden said it best...confidence goes a long way for a player...a few more of these games and Thiggy might turn out to be the next Romo. Thigpen and Romo are quite similar if you ask me...both have quick releases, both have good mobility, and they both have plus arms. Why can't Thigpen turn out? You tell me. Romo had 3 or 4 seasons to learn...Thigpen had 1...he's learning on the fly and doing a DAMN good job. You're ridiculous. |

Sometimes, god-awfully so. And still winless as a starter...just like Croyle. At least Croyle was accurate. |

I was a big Croyle guy too... but facts are facts. |

The last two games I've seen him make SEVERAL great throws...more great throws than poor throws. The best QB I've ever seen, Peyton Manning, missed about a half dozen throws last Monday Night... It happens. Thigpen is a 2nd year player, 7th round pick...he was in over his head against Atlanta trying to prove everyone wrong... He admitted after the Jets game he just doesn't worry about what anyone thinks anymore... and look what happened. The kid is gaining confidence and he is looking good...he made SMART decisions today. He ran the ball when he had nothing, he threw the ball out of bounds when he had nothing...he has played well for two straight weeks. The Chiefs had the opportunity to win in the 4th quarter against two playoff caliber teams in two consecutive weeks and the defense couldn't make any stops. Tyler Thigpen is the biggest positive on our team this year, easily. These last two weeks he's shown more than any single member of the Kansas City Chiefs. |

Thigpen >>>>>> Croyle
If you can't admit that, then you are simply just trying to get underneath everyone's skin. Tyler Thigpen has been our best QB over these past two weeks since Trent Green during the Vermeil tenure, easily. Thigpen can make every throw Croyle can make. I believe Thigpen is also more versatile, and clearly, much less injury prone. Thigpen is going to play Croyle out of a job, plain and simple. When Croyle comes back, IF Croyle comes back, he's looking at Thigpen/Rookie/Croyle depth. |

He played well against an above average NFL defense today and he's a 2nd year player out of Coastal Carolina. Plus arm. Quick release. Good feet. Good mobility. And right now he seems like he has some pretty decent leadership qualities and a lot of room to improve. Personally, I am now looking forward to every Sunday BECAUSE of Tyler Thigpen. These last two weeks he's made this team exciting...which is a big leap from what we were to start the season. |

Staying on the field's a pretty big part of the game. |
LOL...we actually have people thinking that Thigpen's gonna be the starter next year. Amazing.
Chiefs fans are dying of thirst in a desert right now. They get a drop of Tyler Thigpen and think he's the answer. Amazing. |
