You have two choices... give me my very deserved pardon as a non-n00b, or know that it is me a Raiders fan that is King of the n00bs! none have been here longer or have a 10K post count.

I put my name in on that site and it gave me every place I've lived in the last 25 years, including rentals, all over the country. Impressive that it found all those places, but not proof of anything except that I lived in those places at one time.

FYP.

I took a dump in Leawood about three days ago, so anything is possible.

What is the consensus on this rumor? Does it have legs or should we beat this guy with a pillow case full of bars of soap?

I agree. Some of the people here need to lighten up. And stop being assholes.

This board is awesome. People slam the guy for not having credibility, but may I ask, why some of you have more credibility over others? Because some of you have 10,000+ posts? The way I see it, none of us work in the organization so why would any of us be trusted more than others? I guess, if you stated something and it turned out to be true for no other reason than coincidence, some of you might count that as credibility. Anyways, think about it..I think it's possible that the NFL sent out a memo simply stating that any organization who was going to have big news may want to hold off from releasing it until after the Super Bowl. Yes, I know, the Lions/Denver/Rams all announced Head Coaches, but who cares about those guys. Now, if the Chiefs were to sign Cowher, that would be huge news and take away full exposure from the Super Bowl. Just like the Chargers are keeping quiet about LT and the Cowboys are shy about the TO nonsense. Just wait a little longer and we'll learn that Herm is being released and someone else is coming in..

Some people have overreacted to this n00bs thread, but respected posters that have been around for a while have earned some credibility and get some benefit of doubt.

And that NFL wanting to hold off on big news?

You think Cowher being hired anywhere is going to be kept secret for long?

Not very likely.

News would leak.

In a way, yes. Usually by the time someone has that many posts we have an idea on whether or not they are a dumbass who will post anything.

Because people with money decide to live in places that have the amenities that suit their lifestyle. Where's he supposed to live? Sugar Creek? Methdepence? I'm pretty sure that someone of Cowher's stature would be just fine living in Hallbrook, for example. He's not coming here, so it's a moot point.
