I have questions. A lot of them. But there was some reason Krumrie was kept. I thought he should have been one of the first people fired next to Gun. But Pioli knows a lot more about him than we do.

I also know that Herm Edwards was cut out of the equation even though Clark Hunt was loyal to him. And I know that half of the staff was cut. And this was clearly a decision that was not made out of loyalty and given how long Pioli ruminated on the decision, it was carefully evaluated. I'm not saying I blindly trust Pioli, but this is a clear example of a case where I will trust his judgment and will be evaluating Krumrie closely throughout the year to see if Pioli's instinct was right.

Do I blame Pioli for keeping Krumrie? No. Will I blame him by midseason if our d-line shows no improvement or regresses? Yes.

That's a euphemism for beating off, right?

You "won an argument with yourself"?

Before I ever posted on a semi-regular basis, I lurked for a long time so that I could have somewhat a foundation to build upon before running my mouth.

These n00bs break in on the middle a ****ing conversation, and then seem shocked that they have no idea what the **** is going on.

Regresses? Is that possible?

Hell, I am thrilled we have Pioli. What I don't like is the fact that jackass's come on here and tell us we won't draft a QB in the 1st round because... that is not "The Patriots Way". Crap like that!

I could give a crap less about the Partiots.

And I would like to know why Krumrine is still here. Was it Gun? Was it Herm? had to be something, because that dude has been handed some pretty high ranked players and they have all stayed pretty much the same or have gotten worse under his watch.

Pioli Zombie 02-18-2009 01:17 PM

What is this midseason crap? This franchise was run into the sewer. You think its all going to be wonderful in 8 games??

And all this talk about patience. Shut up!!! Go watch the Raiders then. You think Pioli cares about your patience. That was carl's hangup. Pioli cares about building it right. You worry about fast.

What you said. Just a bit late on the draw. :)

Excellent point right there, Mr. chiefzilla1501.

However, it makes me wonder (I haven't researched the matter) if Patty Cakes has any history at all with the Parcells mafia.
