Balbay is the PG for the Longhorns, which I'm sure you must have noticed if you were watching this game.

And you seem to have moved your argument from "Abrams sucks" to "Abrams is a mediocre player and (shouldn't be) a principal part of their offense", therefore Texas isn't good.
When I said he sucked, I qualified it by saying "relatively." To me, he's a mediocre player that gets way too much press for his production, and a guy that will never even have a shot of making the NBA. The fact that he is their primary scorer hurts the Longhorns.

Top 5 or both stay?

Definitely. The schedule was perfect, allowing them to get on a roll before going to Baylor, Mizzou, and KSU; and then OU, Mizzou, and Texas.

I don't really know what the chances are of Collins and/or Aldrich sticking around, but we can dream...

They both would benefit from staying. Aldrich would go from middle to late first to Lottery pick and Collins is a little short and could build his draft stock by dominated in college.

Can't believe Kansas is playing for the conference lead this late in the season, much less the outright lead.....

It's definitely Pitt and UConn 1 and 2 now, and then a various number of teams from 3-6 (UNC, OU, MSU, Memphis?).

I've seen him projected as a top 10 pick in 2010, but I don't think he would be much lower than that if he were to leave this year.

Collins is too short to play NBA basketball, he's way better off staying all 4 years.

Nah, Lousville, Duke, Wake, and Marquette come before them, IMO.

I want them to lose to KU twice this season. Of course one of us would have to upset OU in the tourney for that to happen.

WilliamTheIrish 02-21-2009 11:26 PM

Balbay averages and entire one assist more per game than Abrams, while averaging 20 less minutes over the season. His minutes are up an down in conference play.

Balbay has good games (OSU) and bad games (MU 2 minutes). When Balbay plays well they play better as a team. Again, it's my observation that Abrams is the same player he was last season. W/O Augustine, they just look ordinary at times.

As the 2&3 seeds, they'll have the chance to play prior having the chance to play OU.
