You should get one at the age of 30, IMO.

I think it's gonna feel weird to have someone digging around in my pit. Definitely don't have to feel for the lump though. It's quite visible when I lift my arm.

This. Cancer's usually really dense and harder, almost like a rock IIRC, but it's definitely better to get it checked out, especially if it's been there persistently.

I had a old co-worker send me a message on facebook telling me that she found one that wa nothing under her right armpit. When she had her boys, and her milk came in, she said it grew to the size of a baseball. Turns out, it was excess breast tissue. She notices that it gets a little bigger during that time of the month.
