I guess I shouldn't be surprised but I can't believe this is a big deal, even on CP. It would absolutely defy logic for the rest of the original AFL teams to wear their original unis and have the Chiefs pick one the fans prefer. Is anyone going to see the TX on their helmet and actually be confused? Or do you really hate TX THAT much?

If we were throwing back to the 'Pyongyang North Koreans' I could understand the problem.

I don't see it as an "insult" to Kansas City or the Chiefs at all, it's simply that there IS NOTHING ELSE to "throw back" to.

I mean, we could trot out some ancient cleats and possibly the helmets from the late 60's/70's with the ULTRA HUGE Arrowhead on them, but the footwear would slow the guys down, and those old helmets would probably get them killed in today's game! ROFL

I kind of like that the Chiefs uniforms have always been basically the same. I like the unity of tradition, even if we are the official team of Ronald McDonald. :shrug:
