Even if you assume that the Bears' first's value next year is roughly equivalent to what it's worth this year, that still only puts the total value at the equivalent of our #3 pick. That's not at all too much for a franchise QB.

It's a great deal for the Bears...people who don't think it is either don't like Cutler because he was on the Broncos or they don't value the QB position at all.

Never said that, just said that Mark Sanchez does. And you've been saying all along that Stafford is going to suck.

We got ripped the **** off. Denver needed to get a top 10 pick, another 1st round pick, and a pro bowler to make this trade fair.:shake:

To complete the trade, the Broncos had to give back a third-round pick in 2009

Then read the comments here about how the Donks got over on the Bears...

LMAO

Our fan base is loaded with ****tards who think QB isn't anymore valuable than the Jesus Curry.

I do agree with you here. Kyle Orton is a big step down from Jay Cutler, so I'm pretty excited that he's going to be in Denver... will it be Simms or Orton... my answer is Who Cares?? They're both worse than Cutler.

FWIW, the 12th and 18th pick is worth 2150.

They could move up to as high as #3.

EDIT: Duh. You mentioned that.

Whaaa?? This is Jay Cutler not Tom Brady. If you think C-untler is worth all that then pass whatever your smokin.

Gravedigger 04-02-2009 03:43 PM

They traded 2009 1st rounder 2010 1st rounder and Kyle Orton for Cutler... Bears got hozed.

Yeah... because Cassel who's worth half-a-second at 11-5 is going to be worth a first at 15-17.

NFLN blows Cutler constantly though. I say that he's more proven than any QB in the draft, and with the right coaching/defense (like the Bears' defense), he can be phenomenal. Still a great trade for the Bears.
