The problem is they have that number lower than 20 next to them, that's kinda been a problem for Nebraska this...ummm...decade.

If you guys put up some points against their D I'll be impressed and a little more worried about our game.

You can't get rid of DaKCMan AP Appreciation Day! DaKCMan AP Appreciation Day is like New Year's except we get to celebrate it every month!

I think we need a DaKCManiswaytoofullofhimself Day.

Will that be a one-time, annual or monthly celebration?

I agree. However, I will say that I was very impressed with KU's defense the other night. And everyone knows that Mangino had not won a non con road game since 2003.

Yes, I know it was only UTEP. But UTEP was supposed to be pretty prolific on offense. They actually outg ained Texas in their game last year 412 yards to 404 yards. Before this game, I thought that KU may have been in for a shootout. UTEP's 2 WRs were tops in the nation last year in TDs. KU held that team to just over 200 yards total offense at their house.

Now I know that is only 1 game and they(UTEP) may suck the rest of the year, but many Jayhawk fans considered this to be our first test. If that is the case, I would say KU passed with flying colors. KU's lines dominated on both sides of the ball. I like what I have seen so far.

Why anyone is ranked in the ACC not named VTech just baffles me.

The Illinois secondary might be the worst group I have ever seen there, and I was in school during the 0-11 season.

With that said, Mizzou will have a pretty good season. Gabbert is a very good QB and you have a great RB in Washington.

You know what was messed up? The score ticker at the bottom of the screen during the KU game on CBS College Sports channel kept listing that score backward. I thought Illinois was getting spanked by Illinois State. ROFL

Most of you guys here on CP are pretty cool and don't really do that too much. There are exceptions, however (billay), and I have seen plenty of it on other bbs. But you can't blame an entire fanbase for a few dipshits. Heck, we all have those type of fans in our respective fanbases.

I thought I read at the beginning of the year that VT lost a very good defensive player for the year. Did that happen? If so, that could hurt their defense a bit.
