Can you not refinance? I really don't want to get too nosy, but what is the balance of the loan?

I don't know if you have any credit unions where you're at, but here in Iowa, we have Veridian, and right now, a 30yr. loan is at 4.750%. I'd think just by tacking the refi-fee on the the existing loan and dropping your rate down that much would save you quite a bit on your monthly mortgage.
