The guy is just so overrated it sickens me.

how can anyone watch him and watch peyton manning and come to the conclusion that Tom Brady is better?

That is insane.

Then perhaps you should ground your critiques in stats and evidence and not become so inured to the idea that Manning is better that you lose any pretense of objectivity.

You can't conduct an argument without resorting to pure propaganda, and that's why you always fail in convincing people. There's no acknowledgement of the merits of the other side whatsoever. It's Peyton Manning is the greatest and Tom Brady is the worst. It's Fox News levels of intelligence.

If you want people to believe that Manning is better than Brady, at least be intellectually honest enough to give Brady some credit, because whether or not you like it, he's a hall of fame quarterback.

Point to one post where I did this.

Was I mocking you in saying that he caused those fumbles that their defense did? Yeah.

Did I in any way allude that he's a choker? Nope.

Was I lampooning your fanboi reactions? Definitely.

Reading comprehension > Golden Showers.

well at least you're admitting to what we both know...

You know as well as I do what you were doing in that thread yesterday...

wild1 01-17-2010 02:58 PM

eventually Romo was going to lose a game, and QBs dont usually put up good numbers when their team loses.

I've always admitted he is a hall of fame QB...

and I've always stood by my reasoning why he is a hall of fame QB...

He's a talented guy...the Patriots made him a game manager in 2001...and he did an amazing job...he did exactly what the coaching staff asked him to do...the Patriots won a Super Bowl...he didn't **** up...they probably cheated (how else do they hold the Rams to 3 points through 3 quarters???)...but that's beside the point...the Patriots beat the Rams...Tom Brady was the QB...

Suddenly this young 6th round pick is a Super Bowl winner...he gains all sorts of confidence and swagger...they trade Bledsoe..he's the toast of town...can do no wrong...

Confident guy, lots of swagger...suddenly he becomes TOM BRADY...

Plain and simple...that's what a Super Bowl can do for a guy...

If Tom Brady was the Chiefs 6th round pick...what are the odds he's our starting QB in 2010? What are the odds that he's TOM BRADY...1st ballot hall of famer?

Exactly.

If we won the Peyton Manning lottery...

Would the Chiefs have set the record for most wins in a decade?

How about the Bengals? Browns?

Peyton Manning was destined for greatness no matter what...he's a once in a lifetime QB...best QB of all time...as perfect as we'll ever see...

Tom Brady...1st ballot hall of famer...tripped into the perfect situation...

you can try and deflect all you want but what's true is true

I thought it was between the cards/cowboys/packers in the NFC...

I was convinced the Saints were 1 and done...

the NFC was a mess to predict this year...

even Vegas was confused so I don't feel so bad

This thread makes me go lolz.

IMHO
Romo has the talent to do good things, he has good players around him as well.

However, once he starts getting pressured his i.q. drops 50 points.
He is not a big game quarterback. That may change in the future but it's not looking very likely.

He needs a big name coach to come in and work with him. Wade's just not cutting the mustard.

Even Hootie thinks Hootie went plaidtard yesterday.

He's not a big game QB? ROFL

Of course not...easy to say when he loses.

Lets all get together and watch the Cowboys/Giants postseason game from 2007...and then after the game I want you all to look me in the eye and tell me Tony Romo is the reason they lost that game and he's not a big game QB.

Oh great...here comes Baby Lee with his awesome commentary.

Yeah...

I think it's hilarious.

I was hanging out with friends and was pretty bummed out after the cards game but we all knew the Colts were going to tear the Ravens apart...they had no chance with Flacco...

and yeah...that's the same team that made the Patriots look like clowns...

but Tom Brady has no weapons...so I guess he gets a pass.

Hamas said Tony Romo was one of the worst QB's in the NFL...

Now that the Cowboys have lost in the playoffs to a team they were favored to lose against...

Apparently I'm the idiot for thinking Romo is one of the best QB's in the NFL...

Because what Hamas says is gospel...

Remember the early season drama with Romo...where the Cowboys lost a couple in a row and everyone started piling on Romo?

Well in a Carson Palmer thread where I was being mocked for calling him super overrated (funny how that turned out)...I was also saying I thought Romo was a great QB...Hamas was, of course, saying how great and clutch Carson Palmer was (lol at that) and referred to Tony Romo as flat out taint...

So this is his first chance to get some of his dignity back.

Which is why you started a thread yesterday equating that Brady was Cassel.
