Also true.

He's going to look at Gabbert slinging it down in Carolina while he's freezing his ass off in Buffalo and getting driven into frozen sod every Sunday.

This was just a poor decision made by a shortsighted kid, IMO.

Gabbert's not going to the Panthers. They can get by with Clausen for a year now, but they'll likely take a defensive play 1st now.

It wouldn't surprise me to see it fall

1. Bowers
2. Fairley
3. Gabbert
4. Green
5. Peterson

I was thinking Bowers at 1. And I can see that happening.

If there's a lockout next season, there's still a draft, correct? Or do they have to reach the agreement before the draft. Sorry for being dumb.

How does leaving help him in the NFL? All it does is help him get more money right away. Not everyone is motivated by money.

Look at Leinart and look at Locker. Locker went from being the #1 overall pick to not even being in the top 3 of his own position.

If he has some concussions next year or he jus plays terrible, he will likely slide down the board.

Staying an extra year isn't going to change how successful he is in the NFL. If he's truly a great player, he'll have a great NFL career and make tons of money wherever he's picked.

The NFL, much like the NBA, will be all about the 2nd+ contract.

good, i would like that.

I don't know why some of you care so much. Bradford is laughing at all of you.

Reckless? Really? Get a grip

In other news, Mallett decides to come out after his junior year.

Coach 01-06-2011 07:30 PM

Wasn't there a percentage or statistical that shows that Juniors coming out of college tend to bomb or perform poorly in the NFL?

At least while the kid may lose alot of money, the good thing is that, assuming Luck did declare pro, for whatever reason that Carolina didn't pick him, I sure as hell don't want Luck going to Denver, Tebow or not.

I'm not sure why you think your post makes any sense.
