I don't think you're judgmental, but certainly you're worrying about stuff beyond your control.

Nothing beyond tracking down this guy's phone number and giving him a call would have done any good. It's a suicide note. Means you write it, leave it in a place for people to see, and then kill yourself.

He already completed steps 1 and 2 before any of us would have had a chance to help.
