Running backs are a dime a dozen.

Chris Polk or Montee Ball will be ballers and be there in round 2/3

That explains us trotting out Jones, McLackluster, and Battle.

I would trade down in that case.

Or a DL from LSU. We've never done that...

Haley is the problem.

Yep
exactly and if the chiefs drafted our OBOTF he would ride the pine and Haley would still play Palko.

agree......... Ravens didn't want him, Raiders didn't want him, did nothng for the Chiefs and got cut. He is working the last 5 games for a pay check.
He was playing against a pretty weak defense last night.
I don't care about Gaither

Who cuts a tackle late in the year? Good ****ing jesus.

You think it was Muir's call? Muir is still trying to find the on/off switch on his head set that he was given in preseason game 1. He's not the guy cutting players.

I don't get this. Shouldn't Cassel going to the IR list opened up a roster spot? Or did we fill that with someone else?

this is very simple. He didn't fit Haley and Piolis "way". Same as Bernard Pollard. That is my biggest beef with this front office and head coach, is that they will jettison a player if they don't think his attitude meshes completely with what they want, regardless of talent. It is the same model that Pitt has. Look at the players up there. If they don't give 100% all the time to the team "way", they aren't there.

He was cut from Baltimore. He was passed on by Oakland. They didn't cut him.

The Chiefs had him. The Chiefs offensive line SUCKS. They cut him and he is starting and playing well in SD 7 days after he was cut.

Given that Haley has continued to support and talk up Palko. Given that Haley let JC ride the bench and started LJ.

Then, we have Waters and Haley getting into it when he first arrived. Waters was let go this year.

Gaither is just another example of a player who is clearly more talented than a starter that was not given a chance.
