Just another one of my pet peeves this season is Casey Wiggworm. I thought when he left for dungver he was gone for good. I thought the last year he played for the Chiefs he pretty much sucked eggs. I thought he was part of the problem with the O-line the last year of Herm Edwards after all the good years have passed him. The man is 38 years old. 16 years in the league. Just what is going on here with the youth movement?? WTF???

I'd be surprised if Orton doesn't start. Crennel wants to win. Orton gives them the best chance. Provided his finger is OK.

I really hope Palko is inactive.

I don't get how everyone has determined that Palko playing was 100% Haley.

I've always felt the most likely explanation was Pioli having some grand plan to groom Stanzi that involved him taking the Aaron Rodgers approach to his first few years. And Pioli being so married to that plan that even in the face of this year's QB trainwreck, he refused to deviate.

It's even plausible to me that Haley reached his limit on trotting out Failco, and said Stanzi plays or I go, and that's what resulted in him being fired now vs at seasons end.

Of course that's just as speculative as the opinion that Haley actually liked Failco. Unless there's info I missed confirming that?

Todd and Palko were on the AZ Cardinals together.

Palko was in Arizona with Haley. Doesn't take a genious to figure that one out.

And that's enough to assume he'd choose Palko as the weapon with which he commits career suicide?

I mean, its a link. It just seems like an extremely weak one.

This fanbase's infatuation with Zorn has confused me from day one. The guy has done literally nothing as a coach. Anywhere.

Trust me, Haley was in love with Tyler Palko.

Bordered on insanity.

Todd already knew he was gone. He just gave his boy his 15mins...

it's possible that Stanzi is absolutely diabolical when at practice, and they dare not put him in as he is just_that_bad.

I feel a bit sorry for Haley. He was expected to win with a mediocre QB and a team worth 30 million less that most of them. He may be a dickhead aswell but he was ****ed from the start, IMO.

4 yards in the first half...

1 legit touchdown pass (that Bowe dropped)

13+ legit interception balls thrown (5 or 6 dropped)

I dont care how bad the next guy looks in practice...he gets a chance because Palko was that bad.
