Fisher is horribly over-rated. You look at his career and the numbers show him as barely competent and consistently mediocre. 6 winning seasons in 17 years? Granted he had a freakish number of 8-8 seasons, but that almost underscores just how mediocre a coach he was. I'm not terrified of him going to San Diego. He'll keep them competitive, but I don't see them rampaging.

im glad, i never thought he woulda made a great coach anyways

Well, you appeared, so the dumbassery just went up 10 fold.

lol, like Fisher would come out and blatantly say these things. False report, imo.

Although I still don't believe Fisher would be interested in the Chiefs job, I have to agree. At least, he certainly wouldn't say something like that were he to think it would go public.

Why would anyone post anything from Jack Harry and consider it legit news?

Jack Harry has spent 500 years in the KC sports media scene and has yet to break a news story.

His "source" in Nashville is probably one of his 17 ex-wives.

Well, I highly doubt this was an official statement he released.

I'm assuming Clark would force him to do so.

Is it possible that somebody hypnotized Fisher and made him say this stuff?

Clark isn't quite so "hands on". He doesn't strike me as the Jerry Jones type.

There was a lot of chatter around town that Clark was going to be more hands on. That's why you were hearing rumors of Jeff Fisher. The firing of Todd Haley has to be pretty embarrassing for Clark.

While it's possible Clark would force Pioli to give the next HC personnel power, it's highly unlikely. That is basically Pioli's SOLE responsibility - they have a separate business head now unlike when they had Peterson.

So if the HC got personnel power, Pioli would literally have NOTHING to do.
