It's getting laughable the moves he makes. Everyone around the league laughs at Cassel, yet Pehole says I'll show you guys. **** it. He's brought in some good pieces but he can GTFO. |

Maybe Crennel wants McDaniels to be his OC?

Maybe we go stake out I70 say about Columbia, get some Bouches burgers and trops, sit and wait for Mcdaniels to drive under the last bridge there by the mall and run him down, ask him politely to go to NE.
Who's in? |

If it weren't for the ego of a German General, WWI could have been avoided. Things would not have been so bad for everyone involved. Pioli did bring some good pieces, his drafts are improving year by year. I used to discount Whitlock's claim that Pioli has too big of an ego to admit his mistakes but it's look as if Jason was right. Pioli is not admitting that Cassel is the problem and he's not willing to let go of him. This can truly turn this talented team into nothing within 2-3 years. **** Pioli if he forces Cassel on us. |
Maybe Pioli wants to bring in Mcd to work with Luck, as he knows he's going all in for the guys this eyar.

Wow. Overreact anyone?
IF McDaniels is hired as the OC, then I am fine with it. 1) We know already they aren't going to get rid of Cassel this year, so I've given up worrying about it. Waste of breath. Might as well put him in the best position to succeed if that involves bringing in a coach who he is comfortable with and vice versa. Either he plays like an average to a sometimes slightly above average QB and helps this team get back to the playoffs, or he falls flat on his face. Either way, next year is probably the more logical time to start looking for his replacement than this year, because I don't think we're going to be able to leapfrog and outbid teams to move up for RG3. 2) If we hire McDaniels and put a dynamic offense on the field to go with an up and coming defense and win over the next three years or so, I would have no issue with him succeeding Crennel as the HC, because it would provide continuity to a winning program and he would not be calling the personnel shots. If instead the offense continues to suck and we continue to be a mediocre team, none of these guys are going to be around in a couple of years anyway and we'll be looking to hire the next big thing. At the end of the day, if this is what Pioli wants, then it better translate into W's, otherwise he's done. The offense was pretty decent under another ex-Pats OC, so I'm not going to lose sleep over it if he does come here. I would be really pissed however if we hired yet another OL coach to be the OC, or did something like promote Maurice Carthon to that role... |

That's the part that bugs me. They're suppose to be competing for our dollar. If their plan isn't to do that, then we have every right to show our displeasure and not attend games. |
