Gilberry like said should be resigned if the price is right. If some 43 team decides to throw big money at him, I'd let him walk.

GOOD teams fill holes with expensive FAs.

You draft your core, especially at QB, and then spend money to fill in the gaps with established players.

We're basically doing it the OPPOSITE of the way good teams do it.

O.city 02-10-2012 05:42 PM

Well we have done it that way, save for our qb. Our core is set thru the draft, now we just have to get a qb.

Which we can do next year after we get Richardson in the first this year.LMAO

I think you will be like the kid who was expecting an Playstation 3 but received a Commodore 64.

Truth.

Boss is trying his best to be positive.

He's the guy still playing the violin while the Titanic is sinking.

O.city 02-10-2012 05:46 PM

I guess I'm the one playing the bass. I'm trying to be positive but it keeps getting tougher and tougher.

The Bad Guy 02-10-2012 05:46 PM

Yeah, Gilberry isn't a big loss. He bulked up, was supposed to be better, and just wasn't.

Bailey could fill Gilberry's spot.

It will be 3 with Bowe, but that is still ridiculous how bad we were at drafting under Carl. That is where I believe all this money is coming from. It also helps that we resigned Jamaal Charles and DJ well under the market value

Yes, you are the only one.

The cap was not in great shape, ever with Carl. Every other year he'd go on a spending spree, and then the following year we couldn't spend shit.

O.city 02-10-2012 05:49 PM

Bad Guy, was it you that said Bowe was wanting Holmes money?

IF TRUE ... we could afford Bowe,Carr AND still sign Payton Manning.

O.city 02-10-2012 06:01 PM

Laz if thats true we could sign Bowe and Carr, make runs at Manning, Grubbs, and Soliai and probably still be alright.

KCrockaholic 02-10-2012 06:02 PM

Let's sign Paytin Mannys.

Easy. He had a good impact on limited snaps. If he starts getting some of Gilberry's too, he shouldn't disappoint.
