I mean even their hometown writers are talking out both sides of their mouth. "He didn't complete a pass over 20 yards (in the air), he played one series and he threw 1 pick and almost threw another" if not 2 others. Yet "the Broncos have to be satsified with is arm".

He didn't take a hit either which I specualte is one reason they pulled him so early.

then Pioli wasted it with three years of Casshole.

Success with Cassel?

Same can be said of Stanzi. There's a 0.01% chance he ever becomes a starting Qb in the league. 0.00001% he is a GOOD starting Qb in the league.

well i'd feel safer taking my chances with Stanzi and the low percentage.

To be honest any player is. I believe John Lynch had same surgery and played S so take that for what you want and his surgery had nothing to do with strength of neck. Chiefs f$CKed up for not chasing after Manning.

I really want to aggravate the Cheaps about this but I can't.... I think he is way over rated and paid at this stage of his career...

Yoi know I think I broke this down a few weeks ago based on the current QB's in the league. IIRC you have about a 3% chance of a 5th round QB being good and about a 1% or so if them getting to the SB.

Seriously Peter that does not count for the Cheaps, you guys had Joe Montana and probably the best team in the NFL at that time and still blew it... So those stats really don't matter much when it comes to KC

He took us to the AFC CG. I agree we lost in that game, having Dale Carter hurt didn't help but nonetheless.

If that were any other team's starting qb there would be a huge amount of criticism heaped on him. For Chief fans, if that was Cassel, it would just be further confirmation that he sucks. If it was Carson Palmer, us Raider fans would be shitting bricks. The same applies to any other team in the league.

NFLN saying that he hasn't lost a step is utter bullshit. Manning will probably improve but last night he looked like a shadow of his former self.

Manning converted on a 3rd and 18 so the reality is after his drop back, that's over 20 yards right there. Yes, he looks rusty but then again, that's very much expected.

Hey, did you guys see Osweiler?

No, I saw DUMBERVIL get his first fine of the year last night for yet another late hit on a QB

derp, derp, derp.

whatever. You act like the Broncos are media darlings when in fact they get little to no respect by the national media. I'll give you one huge example that backs this up--only 3 Broncos players are in the HoF. That right there shows the huge lack of respect this franchise gets.

As for Manning looking rusty, what do you expect? Seriously, you should be way more worried about your boy Palmer.

a preseason fine? meh.

The field was in terrible condition as well. Just wait until Peyton plays in the fantastic conditions in Denver and the receivers don't have to wade through a soggy field.

Peyton Manning isn't a media darling? Sure thing. It's one thing to be a homer, it's another to be willfully reeruned.
