What rumors are you talking about? Not saying you're wrong, but everything I've heard as a Falcons fan following my team closely is how much the players love the new OC. |
Tell me one thing Matt Cassel does better than Matt Ryan.
Keep in mind Matt Ryan is compared to Peyton Manning in his football IQ. |

I moved to Kansas Shiitty because Atlanta was getting expensive to live in. Atlanta is my favorite team, KC is my 2nd. When I move back to Atlanta, I might drop being fan of all KC teams since they all suck. Im already a Kentucky and Alabama fan. TEAM SEC baby! |

Good work front-runner. |
Chiefs can easily take this one. Falcons struggle on the road and have lost in two straight openers. Losing Hali and potentially Johnson (one of my fav lb's) is huge. The Falcon's have receiving threats but don't have adequate time to give them the ball. If Chiefs fail to generate pass rush it could be a long day for KC. On offense I expect a ground and pound attack from KC using Hillis and Charles. This worries me, with the loss of our run stopper Curtis Lofton can the young 2nd year MLB Akeem Dent fill in adequately? As a Falcon fan my ideal situation would be to take an early lead therefore prompting Cassel to throw into the Falcons secondary which is a strength of our D.
At the most Falcons may win by 10 but I don't think it will be a murder by any means. If there is any sort of lead (Mike Smith) "Smittyball" will ensue after halftime where ultra-conservative plays will be called. |

Put Berry at CB for the first game and have Daniels and Abe at safeties

It's obvious that Atlanta on defense is going to try to do what any smart team would do: Stop the run and force Cassel to beat them. That's going to force Cassel to try and make some plays in the passing game. I don't know if I'm necessarily confident in that. And it's going to likely happen. There is going to be times in this game where Cassel IS going to have to be a QB and go through progressions and find his targets like a QB is supposed to do. If successful that will (in turn) open up the running game. Both the passing game and the running game have to play off of each other and help the other out. Sorry fellas, Cassel is going to have to make some plays for us to win this game and we do have the talent around him to help him do that. We'll see what happens.
On defense it's simple...kill Matt Ryan. |
