I'ma little leary of using this approach due to offending potential allies but it is a damn good one.

oh yeah, that was mostly a joke. I am talking about when discussing it with a nutjob like BaryKoolAid. (as he plans to do, I think)

NOT talking about using that analogy when discussing this with the rational public.

First of all, I have been operating under the assumption that parking fees went to the county ... not to the Chiefs. Second of all, who cares about where or if people park? We're not trying to save meter maids here. Third of all, showing up for the games and tailgating but refusing to enter the stadium seems like one of the best insults we could fling at Pioli ... heck, it's the equivalent of sports venue monkey poo.

FAX

A percentage of the parking goes to the county, the rest goes in the hunt coffers. That was the justification for raising parking prices, to pay the county surcharge.

So I saw Claytons post and just thought it was the song reposted since it wasn't labeled as Marty Mac's interview. My bad. That's what it looked like to me.

Great job Marty. Well spoken and well done.

$4.xx goes to the county and is earmarked for the annual complex maintenance fund due. Another $1 for Chiefs events and $.50 from Royals events goes to the Stadium improvements. The rest goes to parking nazi's, cleanup, and to the respective clubs. Don't know what that means in terms of revenue for the Chiefs and Royals but it's probably a nice little chunk of cash.

Dont know why jaycee decided to go off on how we are trying to pick a GM after the interview. But anyway, great publicity and great job.

This is good chit to post onto Facebook. Let's use this and take away the argument from the others.

Quick math looks like the Chiefs and Royals make about the same on parking through the year not counting special events and college football.
