Chiefs have an interest in Syracuse coach Doug Marrone according to Jason LaCanfora.

Just heard it on 610

Titty Meat 01-01-2013 05:09 PM

Listo, the only thing i like is that McCoy can adapt to multiple systems. Go from college offense with tebow after sucking with Orton

That's one of those "how much was the OC and how much was the HC" kind of deals though. You could even throw in the QB coach. I'm sure every coach on the staff is familiar with that system.

This info probably would have fit well in the Doug Marrone thread.

I gotcha. Just like coaches that can think out of the box and adapt. Not be stuck in their stubborn ways

Well there's nothing about any proven head coach yet. So until I hear or see something. Ill assume as RAC would say, that Clark is BSing

Sure, me too. Jack Del Rio is actually doing a pretty good job of that on the other side of the ball. He inherited some talent but he's mixing up fronts, being creative with blitzes, he does some really off-the-wall stuff like playing you guys in the Nickle that first time around. I could see Del Rio getting some interest but I think it's premature. I just don't see that with McCoy. He's the OC. As far as I know his job is to install a system, create a game plan, and call plays. The system he installed didn't work at the beginning of the season. He let Manning call plays and use more of Manning's "system" and suddenly we're a better offensive team. I can't credit McCoy for that.

Del Rio would give KC some attitude but after listening to Clark he doesn't fit really but he did have Jacksonville doing ok at times

Kent Somers ‏@kentsomers
Also told Tom Heckert is not under consideration for GM by #azcardinals.

Thats ok, neither do Koetter, Armstrong, or Marrone.

Mother****erJones 01-01-2013 05:19 PM

Hmm could it be that talk slows down because Heckert wont be GM?

Exactly why I think Clark is BSing

I am more worried about Del Rio leaving than McCoy leaving.

Del Rio wouldn't excite the fan base. We would have to get Norv Turner as OC for me to be half enticed
