But that said, watching other games around the NFL this past weekend proved that watching nearly every team is brutal these days.

It's the new CBA: Limited offseason practices, no more Two-A-Days, limited contact during the season.

It's made for some bad football.

Good thing we are facing the godawful Denver secondary

Hopefully, there's a Sonic just outside the Broncos stadium.

Overall, i'd have to say that's a pretty fair take from pete king.

The only thing i'd really disagree with is that i'm not worried one bit about Flowers on Herr Welker, and he's right about Axl, the guy needs to be more consistent in finding open receivers, no doubt about it.

That's because it wasn't Peter King.

That was WAY too knowledgeable to be King.

I thought that was a lot more technical than his usual work, but i thought he did all of the MMQB's.

Sad, isn't it? Guy's a nationally known sportswriter that makes millions 'analyzing' football yet I immediately knew it wasn't him because it actually provided salient input on the game.

Readily accessible information will slowly make hacks like King, Easterbrook, Reilly and the like extinct. People that are still writing because they like the sound of their own voice are becoming rarer and rarer things.

I've never thought of Peter King as a football analyst.

He's more of a Harvey Levin-type guy to me. Someone with connections that reports but doesn't actually have a technical mind.

The technical mind, for as long as I can remember, was Dr. Z. But he had the stroke and never recovered fully.

King should credit whoever actually wrote that.

I was sitting there reading it and thinking "wow, this is pretty damn good stuff for this guy".
