Oh shit, you have one of those computers that doesn't allow a google search! Damn man, sorry.

Omaha 01-16-2014 10:08 PM

I googled. I've just never called them that. Triceps don't bother my elbows.

Yes I know that, so I recommended that you start and finish the workout with high rep pressdowns sets to stimulate some blood flow to your elbow ligaments and tendons. Sometimes just warming up that area is all it takes to let you be able to workout. Then ice afterwards.

Elbow sleeves and some good liniment would help a lot, too. I've been dealing with tennis elbow, and started using some rehband elbow sleeves and some elbow grease called Jacks Hot Pink.. shit is amazing.

Doubtfull ;) Some guy being ripped does not change my opinion on the logic behind the fitness fad he teaches.

Simply Red 01-17-2014 09:50 AM

Can't wait - should be a fun FUN summer!

Olympic lifts just weren't meant to be performed in high rep, fatigue-inducing fashion.

It's entirely possible that it's not a form thing with you, Omaha, but that Crossfit is still the reason you're injured. Doing anything that puts a lot of stress on a joint many times over can injure you, even if performed correctly.

See link above.

You could also get paralyzed!!!!!!!!!!

I saw. I don't necessarily blame that on Crossfit. It's a freak accident. It's more on the people there not keeping the workspace clean and danger-free.

It's also a lesson in why racks are such a good idea.

Racks for snatches? That makes no sense.

One of the first things you're taught is that if a lift goes behind you, you take a giant step forward while lunging to get forward quickly.
