The only QB in history to throw 4 TD and 0 INT and lose.

But it's the offense's fault.

Alex took a cheap deal once no way he does it again. Not after Cutler deal.

Another key is make it all guaranteed. 4 at $48MM and let it rip.

Yeah, I have no idea why Smith would do anything on the cheap right now. The team can dress up the deal with bullshit numbers, but the guaranteed dollars are not going to be at any discount.

and seriously, that throw to bowe was perfect. its bowe's job to make that play. be mad at him for letting a small corner nudge him further out of bounds. no sideline awareness.

Alex has proven all year that he would rather throw it too wide OB than take a chance. The ball was too far out, Bowe made a difficult catch.

We gave 2 seconds for him, we have no shot at any other QB worth a shit and he just had the best PO game in Chiefs QB history.......

He has us by the nutz.................

You need to consider not posting for a while.

Getting tired of everyone trying to put blame on 1 side or the other.

This absolutely was a team loss.

Both the offense and defense were playing great for the first 32 or so minutes.

The defense created 4 turnovers. The offense took advantage and scored 2 touchdowns on drives that needed less than 20 yards.

In the 2nd half the defense shit itself and the offense stopped moving the ball. After a 2nd INT from Abdullah the offense managed a 4 yard drive to kick a field goal.

You don't lose a ****ing 28 point lead in less than a half because of 1 side of the ball.

Yep. Everyone is responsible when there is 35-6 run in the course of a game. You can't spin that shit.

You think JC (then Davis), Avery, and Flowers being hurt played a roll maybe?

I'm guessing an All Pro RB may be worth 3 -4 points.

Long term I don't know yesterday was not on him. I am only against the picks given up for him.

ShowtimeSBMVP 01-05-2014 03:49 PM

Jay Cutler- 7Y 126M 54M Guaranteed
Matt Stafford-3y 53m 45m Guaranteed
Matt Ryan- 5y 104m 59m Guaranteed

Alex wont be taking a cheap deal.

If 1/04 Alex Smith is the player we're going to have moving forward, two second-rounders is ridiculously cheap compensation.

Cassel's masturbatory visions were never as imaginative or successful as Smith played yesterday.

By all accounts he has never been about money and willing to play for less. I'm thinking 3 for 42-45 is fair but it would end up being some goofy long deal where the money is spread out.

Alex wont be taking a cheap deal.

Giving one player that much money hurts the rest of the team. If Alex Smith is going to demand that, then let him go and take your chances with Bray or another unproven that can be an elite QB just waiting for his chance to play.
