Must win

62% of the 110 Series winners all time won game 1. Incl 15/17 recent. As for game 2, we jumped to 82.5% after winning both in Balt so assume that holds here

So.......~17% chance if we lose again.

Hootie 10-22-2014 04:42 PM

the Royals lost the first 2 in '85 at home against St Louis in the World Series

So, not a must win.

A very, very important win.

But still...not a must win.

Venturas average fastball in the regular season was 97.0 MPH. The Giants are the best at hitting fastballs over 95 MPH. Hitting .284

I saw more hot women in the stands last game than I saw the entire time I was in KC last time. Must be all the $$$$$$$$$$$

Nope, not this time.

By being a MLB.TV premium subscriber.

so, for $9.99 RIGHT NOW, you can stream all of the WS games from your Xbox, computer, or phone and get the 1st month free in 2015.

So $10. Amazing deal for anyone that can't watch on TV. I literally watched at least a dozen Royals games on my phone (GS4) and they were awesome. Crisp HD. Make sure you're on a wifi network, though...otherwise they'll take your entire data play (4 GB for me) in 1 game.

Hootie 10-22-2014 04:57 PM

oh oh oh oh oh yeah

the World Series is free for MLB.TV subscribers without a cable subscription

the Wild Card, ALDS and ALCS had to be done by using my sister's directv password. Sorry, that was misleading. And I needed an XBOX ONE (a 360 will work for the WS) to stream those games through my TV.

I also have a cord that plugs from my phone to my TV where I can stream things from my phone to my 42" flatscreen which does the trick

as janky as this sounds, it sure beats the **** out of my $180/month cable bill

I get the best internet for an entire year for $37.99 and get every ESPN network, HBO Go, Netflix, MLB.TV, Rhapsody, Hulu Plus, NFL Network, NFL RedZone, Sunday Ticket, etc...

now, a lot of these are because my family has given me passwords, but still...

Hootie 10-22-2014 04:58 PM

the one issue is there is probably a 20 second delay between streaming on my One and you guys watching live...

so I have to follow the thread from a page behind for no spoilers

I learned how to do this pretty well...

but it's a safe bet you'll never hear me be the first to yell about something or be happy about something, I'm just commonly the loudest (and usually an out behind)
