Yep. But the release of Americans SSN's and medical info coupled with financials and IP, made it pretty much a no brainer, IMO.

Just googled it and its only Annie, Fury and a couple of other lesser releases. Rumors of some other stolen movies in a future drop. Im surprised this stuff was connected to the internet on Sony servers somewhere if it hadnt been released yet??

I'm sure these movies are just sitting on a drive. All the hackers had to do was copy.

We had drives of info back in the 90's and 2000's, so it isn't a shock. These companies do a very poor job of protecting their IP. Maybe the best thing about this hack is that procedures will change and security measures put in place.

Of course, that won't even begin to happen until after MLK day because, you know, the entertainment business needs a four week paid rest.

Personally, I think pulling it is chickenshit... however, doing a movie about assassinating a world leader isn't wise. Team America is OK in my book, as it's puppets, and it's ****ing hilarious.

But, if NK made a movie called "인터뷰 - The Interview" in which they had an elaborate plot to kill King Obama... I bet DC would be pissed.
