I didn't see it as an "obvious joke". I think KC fans have looked down on the Blue Jays since the '85 ALCS.

9 years after the Louisiana Purchase, Canadians burned down the White House.
8 years after the 1985 ALCS, The Blue Jays won their second World Series... in a row.

That's viewers, not households, bud. The Yankees' 221K households figure is by far the highest in baseball.

Among other surprises, through Sept. 23, Toronto Blue Jays games on Rogers Sportsnet were up 13 percent, averaging 590,000 viewers, despite the team’s sub-par season (Rogers does not provide average number of households.)
How do you know it is "by far the highest in baseball" if Rogers does not provide the average number of households and the Jays are not part of the equation?

And both have been irrelevant ever since each said event . . . . .

Sorry.

Same question for you, since you asserted the Jays top MLB viewership.

Well I guess the question is how many viewers are in a "household?" The Jays have been getting 750K viewers a game lately.

Bricks is a huge Chiefs fan apparently. Let's make him a bills or pats fan by the end of the season.

Reminds me of the Royals games I regularly attended for nearly a decade, yeah. That's what losing since the 80s/90s does.

Reminds me of the time the Jays had a loaded roster, were winning regularly and had a record 1 game over .500.

How can you win regularly and have a record 1 game over .500? Maybe you meant intermittently.

In any case, the Jays are in just about exactly the same position as the Royals were this time last year (and nobody was going to the games then in KC either...20K last July 30 for KC, the Jays had 30K tonight).
