Best fried chicken in Springfield is from the Price Cutter deli. Walmart deli fried chicken isn't bad either. Haven't been to any other fried chicken joints besides Churches in Memphis and it was terrible.

Publix fried chicken is what I usually get. Not technically fast food but they have it prepares so you just get it and go. Only like $7 too- not too shabby.

Our local Woods grocery store is the go-to chicken place down here. If'n ya want gizzard or livers, you must call ahead.

I would really like to try Go Chicken Go when next in the large city. (never mind, just looked at the locations; none in an area where I'll be going) Our last Stroud's visit was truly disappointing.
