Well, we now know that Maclin was clearly depressed (the article is in the Star) and most likely, Reid won't see the field again. That's 2 out of 11 players that should perform better on Sunday.

The other stuff a like False Starts, bad snaps and fumble fingers can be fixed. Who knows, maybe Maclin's situation took the air out of the offense?

But if they play like they did against San Diego for 45 minutes and against the Texans, there are bigger problems afoot, mainly, the coaching staff not motivating its players.

I'm less worried about the defense now though. The young corners look better than I expected and the run d was much better against the Texans.

The problem is the damn offense. It was supposed to be better, but it's been meh.

Tamba Hali only playing a half bothers me.

It sucks, but I'm tired of getting to December and January with banged up pass rushers. So, if this allows them to all be healthy then, fine.

If they had a healthy Houston, it would be a much smaller issue IMO, but it's the cards they've been dealt.

FYI Steve McClendon has been a beast in his first two games as a Jet. The d line has been dominant and just got Richardson back last Thursday. The Chiefs will have to be unpredictable on offense. If they try pounding the running game it's gonna be a long day. Alex smith is going to have to win this game.

Zombo is the bigger issue.

O.city 09-20-2016 03:48 PM

Yeah, the Jets DL is what we wish the Chiefs DL was.

Alex Smith without a running game. LMAO

The last 3 years, when we rush for less than 75 yards Alex is...0-5! ROFL

New World Order 09-20-2016 07:39 PM

Alex is going to put the team on his back just like Greg Jennings

I'm pretty sure that stat is pretty consistent across the league. If you can't get at least 75 yards on the ground you lose way more than you win. Even if you're Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady

The Jets DL is nice but again, just take the time to watch last week's Buffalo game over. I did today and honestly came away feeling way better about the matchup.

Wilkerson, Williams and Richardson are hardly ever all on the field at once. They do a nice job against the run but Tyrod Taylor had time to read the entire field of pass options on a large number of dropbacks.
