But, those guys on the other side of the state with 140+mph winds? Thats some serious wrath of nature. Going to be some serious projectiles flying around.

God bless big flustered Queef. Call in those super satellite, ninja jets and save us all.l Fat fairy.

Karma is a bitch. It looks like a nice blood red cell is gonna hit my area soon. Salina is getting blasted, Manhattan in 30 min.

KC might get the perfect storm. One set of cells going east along I-70 with another travelling NE up the I-35 corridor. Looks like they meet in KC.

Tornado Warning until 9:00 pm

It'll be a wind event by the time it gets to KC. Likely no tornadoes.

Edit: I'm hoping anyway

How far are you from Melbourne? The mayor just announced that he thinks Melbourne will be uninhabitable for weeks.

About 85 miles. My business partner lives there and they are bunkered down as well.

Three canisters of gas between us. First big bands and gusts hitting us now. Appreciate the chatter here.

With it being a bit stormy and gloomy here in KC with storms on the way it actually gives the sensation that the hurricane is on its way here.

Mosbonian 10-06-2016 05:14 PM

Well it appears that it is going to be down to a Cat 3 hurricane by the time it reaches the Jacksonville area. Not that it lessens the concern but that means the sustained winds will be less.
