Then they are idiots. He is below average but not at the bottom.

Some around here have declared war on people for saying that Alex Smith is "just" below average.

Clay vocally expresses joy when KC loses or struggles. He vocally prays for injuries to KC players he doesn't like.

TU does nether of these things.

Despite the extreme siding and opinions (call it trolling if you really must) of the two... THE BOLDED ALONE clearly separates them.

Any chance you understand the distinction now?

I understand the distinction. What i am getting at is the derailing of threads to constantly state your opinions whether it is one extreme or the other. Derailing threads into Alex Smith threads.
Constantly starting Alex Smith threads for attention whoring purposes.

Unless you're going to draw it out in crayon, he's not going to understand

How do you derail a thread about Alex Smith if you're talking about Alex Smith.

Buehler??

Otter 12-20-2016 05:57 PM

I think just about even the most loyal homers are ready to move on from Alex or at least prepare to with a draft pick.

Yes. About 10 per game and we got this.

Exactly.

...complaining about it now is a complete waste of time.

Agreed.

....white knighting him now is also a complete waste of time.

Also agreed on drafting an early QB for the near future.

redundant defending of him is equally as pointless as the redundant criticism though...

In terms of:

Which QB in Chiefs history has single-handedly ruined the Chiefs' otherwise strong potential?

It's Alex Whiff. And it's not even close.

Of course his fans would prefer to be more literal. He's definitely better than Tyler Thigpen, I'll give you that. He's not literally the worst. Hell yeah!

My point being is, tick for tack. Its like comparing apples to oranges... We are all pissed that he cost us those 2 games, but theres no reason for alot of people to be acting the way they are. Its like they found a moment to criticize (rightfully) but its just un-conversational and biased at best.

Playoffs 3 out of 4 years.
Ended playoff win drought.

...it could be a helluva lot worse, and has been...for a LONG time.

Any given Sunday....:)
