Alex is better than Dilfer without question. I exaggerated.

Ok, nobody quote that Penbrook quote from earlier. My theory is that it's an inter-dimensional post that warps us to another Chiefsplanet in a parallel universe.

Maybe it's a universe in which the Chiefs won 5 Superbowls in 15 years.

But mother**** a championship granted for a league narrative.

I like football, and I like winning. But I'm not so desperate as to play the part of the mentally challenged waterboy who the teams agree to put in at the end of a season for a fake uncontested TD.

If your opinion of Brady, Roethlisburger and Manning are accurate, there is no reason to harbor ill will to Brady, Rapes, Manning OR Alex. The only person to resent is Clark Hunt for not pushing hard enough for a feel good storyline for us with the league Gods.

Find me a $tealer$ fan who feels guilty over the refs gifting them the Super Bowl win over Seattle.

Find me a Pats fan who thinks the tuck rule wasn't fair.

Find me a Broncos fan who thinks wearing cooking spray was wrong.

While we're on the topic, find me a Colorado fan who disavows their last national championship because of the fifth down game, or a Kansas fan who thinks it was wrong they got selected to go to the Orange Bowl.

Go ahead, I'll wait.

Moral victories chug cock.

More abandonment issues?

Seriously, I don't know. The way I smile at taking enjoyment from the journeys of ALL these Chiefs players? I am inclined to believe I will stay right here and become a Mahomo.

If Smith changes his mind, and stays in the League somewhere else, he's a damn fool. I will wish him well... maybe keep a secondary eye on his final efforts.. but no. I think I mainly stay a Chiefs fan, and hopefully a Mahomo.

changes his mind? You're crazy

I and many others do not consider a "wildcard" game a "real" playoff game.

Yes whistle-britches...abandonment issues. I would be beside myself wallowing in sorrow if you left us.

Anyways.

Who would you say is your favorite Chief besides Alex?

Hoover 08-21-2017 08:34 PM

Bill Reiter from CBS radio raved about Mahomes tonight. Said KC has the best situation going and that he believes are set up the best in the division for the next five years

Either way, none of the guys they would want to keep will be ERFA's, so the hit will more than 850k and will depend what level they want to tend each player at.

This is seriously uninformed.

Third year players aren't "tendered" like RFA's. There's ONE number for EVERY player.

It's not like tendering RNR with a 2nd round or Wilson with a 4th rounder if they're Restricted Free Agents after four years of service, with an associated Tender Number and Draft Compensation if they're signed by another team.

Jesus.

Nice.

Red Dawg 08-21-2017 08:41 PM

Once Mahomes has the offense down next season he will be gunning the ball all over. At this point he doesn't know where to go with it yet, set his feet and sling it.
