Alex should be glad that he can leave town without his head being ripped off and shoved up his ass. Any more than that is purely gravy.

Alex Smith had 2 years left on his contract and WANTED to come to KC.
Only way we're getting better than two seconds is if he agrees to an extension. |
Alex Smith expresses his desire to return to Chiefs in 2018
It seems like a no brainer to move on, but it’s the Chiefs. All I can say is I won’t waste anymore time, money and energy on an Alex Smith Chiefs team. When Mahomes takes over I’ll be there.

YES, KC can get more for Alex right now than what they paid for him. Do you think nobody would trade for him? What the **** are you even arguing? This isn't about me defending Alex, so calm the **** down and get your own dick out of your mouth. |

Tiger already getting mega triggered. He’ll have a full blown aneurism when Alex is traded in a couple of months.

Nope. Pretty sure I said no one is giving up MORE than what the Chiefs did 5 ****ing years ago. |
In a pre-salary cap world, you keep Alex as the backup, and he'd be good in that role.
But in the modern world, if you can clear the salary and get draft picks, you trade him. The odds are low that he'll play as a backup, and he's going to be the backup. It's time for a change. |

We are getting at the very least a 2nd... but my post above yours implys why I think we get a lot more than just that for a qb hungry needy team |
