Or the owners collectively agreed not to bid on him...otherwise LA couldn't get this once in forever sweetheart deal.

Peters is worth a 1st and change, minimum, in a honest bidding war...

I think the chiefs showed their hand way too early and should have at least bluffed.
We won't ever know the details from behind the scenes though.

Maybe the Rams were the only team, maybe not.

I don’t think LaCanfora is correct here. I am very confident that Reid was done with Peters after the Oakland away game, and then the Jets game was icing on the cake.
