Even if he does, I highly doubt he sees the field this year. He's getting 6 weeks off minimum.

CapsLockKey 11-30-2018 08:59 PM

As much as it sucks to lose his talents on the field, this was the right decision. It completely squashes any sort of distraction this most definitely would have caused the rest of the season. Players can give their canned responses to the media blitz this week then quickly go back to focusing on winning football games.

Pick up Spencer Ware in your fantasy leagues if you haven't already. Lmao this is so stupid. **** TMZ. Stupid ass network made for the bottom of the barrel dipshits on this planet.

I agree with Twisted Chief. Don't believe for a minute they were all taken aback at the "revelation" that KHunt put his hands on and kicked the drunk skank. I don't care if she called him the N word times infinity. You don't get into that situation. The Chiefs with their secret police had to know about the video. They only pled "Kareem Lied" after it became public and it was clear Kareem was the aggressor. Chunt, Reid and Veatch are all covering their collective asses here. The Chiefs look either A) Incompetent in their vetting of this situation since last February, or B) Only took action on the matter once forced by TMZ and the NFL.

This kind of reminds me about my run in with Haley. Since there was no "photographic or video evidence" they denied the story and Haley was off the hook. Turned out in retrospect he wasn't such a high character individual after all, even though Mark Donovan and Pioli said he was at the time. This time, TMZ had video evidence, so suddenly everyone is scrambling not to take the blame, and they put it all on KHunt. Was he stupid? Absolutely. Should he be suspended? Absolutely. Should he be kicked off the team forever? No, not when you've got Tyreek Hill on the team who probably did much worse. There's just no video evidence of him doing it.

KHunt is an idoit for getting in that situation in the first place. Where's the fall guy in his entourage? Looks like he may have alcohol/anger issues. And if he did lie to Chiefs officials about his involvement, that's all on him.

CHunt, Reid and Veatch could have at least slept on this for 24 hours before kicking KHunt off the team for good. The NFL wasn't going to let him play in another game this year, so it would have been just like the Chargers losing Gordon for the rest of the year. It would have been just like a lost for the season injury. He does community service, he apologizes to anyone and everyone, he comes to Jesus and swears off drinking, whatever; but he's back in the backfield next year. Now, he'll probably end up with the Pats, or Steelers, or Raiders, or Denver, and we'll probably get NO compensation because we outright cut him.

And now a run for the Super Bowl is in question, because there goes your running game in January for the Playoffs.

Another stunning failure.
Another disappointment.
Because Chiefs.

This. This. So much this.

Clark is a freaking idiot. When Brady holds another SB trophy, Clark can polish his good citizenship award. The authorities decided not to file charges. This is not the same as the Ray Rice incident. That "kick" at the end of the video was more of a shove and probably didn't even leave a mark. It was stupid, immature, and shouldn't have been done. It did not warrant a release.

At the very least, if you decide you don't want one of the top 5 RBs in the NFL anymore, you suspend him and then trade him. Get something back. Now? Nothing in return, and he can sign wherever he wants. Pray that it's not New England.

So did we end up losing our bye?

Because Chiefs.

The Chiefs offense is great because of Mahomes. This sucks but the fact is that Specncer Ware is not a huge drop off in the running game and both him and Damien Williams are solid receivers.

This offense is still scoring a lot of points.

He knew about the leagues stance on violence towards women and he still acted like a dumbass. He deserved to lose his job just like any of us would lose our jobs if a video surfaced of us shoving and kicking a woman, especially if we lied about it.

It sucks, but Clark made the only call he could. Those of you saying “I’m done” can get the **** out.

Do people really think the Chiefs should have let this be a distraction for the rest of the season and take the bad press for a player that lied to them? Cut the cancer out and move on.

Rivaldo 11-30-2018 09:04 PM

So what I'm gathering from some of the comments is, as long as there are no distractions and we make the proper halftime adjustments, we can do without one of the best runners in the league or something.

Most likely...Hunt was a bad ass RB. Anyone who says Ware can come in and do the same is fooling themselves.

DTVietnam 11-30-2018 09:07 PM

my Madden team just got alot worse

FloridaMan88 11-30-2018 09:07 PM

As good as Hunt was, #15 is what makes this offense explosive... RB's are replaceable.

Bump 11-30-2018 09:07 PM

I would like a transcript over what Kareem Hunt said to the Chiefs regarding this. If he did lie to their face and claim he didn't do anything at all and the Chiefs honestly did not see the video until now, then ok I guess. They made an example. If that is completely true, then that is the only way I can accept this. That's why we need a transcript or a video of what was said. Nobody saw the video until now? How plausible is that? I feel like they should have just cut him in February, but then again he wasn't arrested. If this is a reaction to twitter outrage, then I don't accept this.

Some team is going to claim him and probably smash our throats with him in the playoffs, if they let him play again this year. That could be a big if, but really the cops didn't see anything wrong so...

This really sucks any way you look at it though and why is that video only coming out now in the playoff race? Are those cops Charger/Patriot fans or something and that's why they wouldn't release the video until now? Does anybody believe that TMZ can get the video before the NFL can? This whole thing just isn't making the most sense and the timing of it and all.

Rivaldo 11-30-2018 09:08 PM

the chiefies are on the warpath!

Kareem is just asking "Will you take me as I am??!"

He's an OG balling outta control, with zero regard for hos

Bwana 11-30-2018 09:11 PM

Look at the bright side. at least it wasn't Mahomes. We can recover from Hunt, if this would have been Mahomes it would have been lights out.
