That's the other thing:

The defensive playbook is much larger than it was when they played the first time.

The defense is on a whole different level, not just in execution but in strategy. I think they have some interesting stuff in store for Herbert.

I’d really love to see another Raiders type game. Just work them and make it not even close.

Take away the underneath stuff, cover the flats, double Keenan Allen, and make Herbert hold the ball for longer developing routes. That's how you exploit bad tackle play. Clark and Ingram could have a huge day if we can cover the short stuff.

Spags lined up Ingram and Clark on the same side a handful of times recently with Ingram out super wide and Clark inside him. I bet we'll see that tonight since the Chargers will likely be chipping with an RB on the left side of their line.
