Possibly naive of me, but I think subbing offensive guys is much easier that subbing defensive guys.

That said, we are still in better shape than we were going into the Chargers game.

Wears me out. Just glad they are getting it now and should be good to go by playoffs.

Hell should we be bringing in Breeland?? Lol

Are you vaxxed?

Are you a world-class athlete in top physical shape?

Yes. My neighbor wears a tin foil hat and refuses to get vaccinated. He’s had it bad for 2.5 weeks. I only had it bad for about 3 days

FloridaMan88 12-21-2021 03:53 PM

Tyreek had his charity gala event 10 days ago... if he was unvaccinated he wouldn't be able to participate in this type of event in-season, according to NFL rules, correct?

Covid doesn’t care. There’s been a few guys that weren’t the same after they got it. It’s not happened to the best, but it’s affected some athletes.

Jesus. That's a sweet ass coat.

comochiefsfan 12-21-2021 03:55 PM

Just stop testing.

This thing is endemic. We have readily available vaccines and boosters.

At some point we all need to realize that this thing is not going away and trying to contain it is futile. This all made sense when there wasn't treatment.

Not so much anymore. Stop testing and let them play.

Which athlete hasn't been the same since they tested positive?

We’ll see about that. The KC receivers are pretty bad when you exclude Kelce/Tyreek. RB’s are not very good either. Everyone will need to step up in a major way.

Myles Garrett is probably the biggest one. The Browns were literally isolating him to keep him away from this latest outbreak. But there have been others. It's not most guys but there are definitely some elite athletes who've had issues.

I know Jayson Tatum of the Celtics had the same kinds of issues. His breathing and stamina wasn't the same after COVID, had to use an inhaler for a while, etc. He's supposedly all better now. But we'll see if Omicron actually has those same effects though.

Garrett has asthma. Extenuating circumstances there, but there have been others.

As the team has been ravaged by positive COVID-19 test after positive COVID-19 test, they are taking no chances with Garrett. Their star defensive end was diagnosed with COVID last year and shared after how much it impacted his health, specifically his breathing and stamina, following.

Taking no chances, the Browns have been having Garrett show up after practice starts and having him only work off to the side by himself. He hasn’t been interacting in close proximity to anyone he does not have to be and the team plans to keep it that way.

10% of all NFL players have tested positive since the beginning of last week. I’d say it’s a good assumption that’s probably what we would find in the general population.
