And sometimes you beat yourself.....which is what happened in this case. I don't think Cinci beat us as much as we choked.

We left too many opportunities to score. Why? COASTING to 21 points, and then what? Let's turn the spigot off....damn I'm tired of that shit.

Yep. When we didn't score at the end of the first half, I figured it would come back to haunt us. But then at the end of regulation when we didn't run it down close, I figured it would cost us the game. Just run the ball three times from the 6 yard line, and we win. It's that simple.

Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase have never lost a playoff game together in college or NFL.

Mahomes has gone to 4 afccgs and won half and 2 Superbowls and won half and he's entering into his prime

He's already a HOF QB and you've got at least another 10 years of him

Losing sucks but we're going to be back next year

Nothing is guaranteed. You have to seize the opportunity when you have it.

I blame Reid more than Mahomes. Too many bad things can happen with only 5 seconds left in the half so take the 3 points. Not only was it a bad decision by Reid but the play call was horrific. The pass should be either in the endzone or out of the back of the endzone not a swing pass in the flat at the line of scrimmage.

I wish someone would take a look at the re-plays of the game before the half. The way Mahomes played the last two plays and then the entire second half, he looked confused. I'm wondering if he was concussed at the end of the first half.

There was something "not right" with him. And it started with him trying to call a time out (which not only didn't he have but it was after time ran out) after the botched throw to Hill. Plus with all the crazy running around with being unable to find a receiver makes me wonder too.

If that was Mahomes best in the 2nd half…he would have been cut a couple of years ago.

They lost this game with 5 seconds to go in the 1st half.
This isn't the regular season. You kick the ****ing field goal.

1 more thing. Every game seemed like the last game.
This team struggles big time at keeping the pedal to the floor and not allowing teams back into a game.

Spags is the reason for that.

Not taking points that are given is not a new problem either.

That's been Andy Reid's playbook all of his career. Get a big lead and then sit on it, hoping the defense holds back the other team.

He did it at Philly. He does it at KC. And when he does this against a talented opponent he always loses.

I wouldn't be surprised if Pat was told to use up the clock rather than make scores. Squirrely plays certainly do that.

RetiredSeniorChief 01-30-2022 06:31 PM

I blame those stupid State Farm Commercials. Look what they did to Rodgers.

Passepartout 01-30-2022 06:33 PM

Should had settle for a FG in the end of the first half there.
