Yea he seems to have found a burst being back in STL. He crushed that.

Looking like he still has some gas left in the tank.

Geeezzz I never saw this start coming out of Pujols.

Gorman has homered in five straight AAA games.

7 total.

But we have to keep pretending that Paul DeJong is a thing.

Yeah - it's pretty remarkable.

I can't imagine anything in the world would drive me more insane than Pujols returning to STL and being great again if I were a fan of any other team in baseball.

I mean lord - if that's not Cardinaldevilmagic then such a thing does not exist.

I thought he might die scoring from 1st on that double. Man that dude's legs are heavy.

Surprising since he looked completely overmatched in Spring Training against Major League pitching.

1979 Brock was the best I was hoping for (as a comparison). Semi-regular, kept him fairly fresh, knew it was his last year and ended on a positive.

I just hope they keep to the role of facing lefties. That I think is the key to his best numbers. He is just hammering them right now.

He looked like a lot of players on the cusp. He was pressing, but I didn't think he looked over matched.

He needs to play, whether it is at the AAA level much longer will be interesting to see. If he comes up he needs to at least play 3-4 times a week. He is going to have an adjustment period. Pujols was an anomaly. Young hitters, particularly those with pop, need to play regularly enough to learn from their mistakes.

Just thrilled to see Pujols end on a high note. Agree that it’s a marathon of a season so we should keep this approach all year.

For any clock experts, at what point can we bring Gorman up with the whole service/contract stuff? Would be great for him to carve out a role at 2B/DH and slide Edman over to SS

Arenado with a homer in the ninth. I love that he plays for my favorite baseball team.

He is on fire this year and just a blast to watch on defense. Clutch all the way around.

I was stoked when we got him. He’s actually exceeded my expectations.
